Minister of Worship and Art

Hillside Community Church has an opening for a Minister of Worship and Art in Grand Rapids, MI. 

Responsibilities:
He/She will be responsible to: Lead the Creative Planning Team in planning and evaluating worship services based on the stated vision for worship;  Evaluate music in terms of lyrics/message of songs and melody/singability of songs; Lead the Worship Arts Committee in evaluating services, in fulfilling the vision for Hillside Music and Arts Ministries, and in determining and coordinating special services; Create and arrange music for services; Oversee the distribution of worship services and events via Livestream, Facebook and YouTube; Work with Ministry Directors to develop and support worship in their respective ministries.  This may include working with youth ministries, women’s ministries or outreach ministries.

Requirements: 
60 months experience as a primary worship leader in a ministry environment, experienced musician vocal and/or instrumental;  Diploma or Certification in Reformed Theology; Commissioned Pastor or eligible to become a Commissioned Pastor in the Christian Reformed Church of North America; Able to sign the Covenant of Officebearers of the CRCNA; Knowledge of technical systems including sound, lighting, and video.
